Wasn't Rivera one of the 8 (out of 179) republican HoR representatives who voted for Dream Act in 2010? Say what you will, but him being willing to work on DA doesn't mean that the whole (or at least a substantial amount) of the party are.

David Rivera is a joke. He introduces dead end bills to stir up controversy. But again the Republicans are a joke. If they somehow managed to win 2012, then civilization as we know it is dead.
