Has anyone been able to move to Australia and know of the process ?

My aunt has told me about the northern territory looking for different types of skilled workers and honestly will take a chance.

Looking at this:

Quote:
The NT Government nominates on the basis that you are committed to living and working in your skilled occupation or in a closely related skilled occupation in the NT.

A condition of NT Government nomination is that you look for work, live and settle for at least two years in the NT after your visa has been granted.
Eligibility

To migrate to Australia's Northern Territory (NT) under an NT Government nomination you must:

- meet the Australian Government requirements to be granted the visa
- be nominated by the NT Government
- be able to meet all other Australian Government visa requirements for permanent residence including age, health and character if applicable - this includes you and any dependents included on your visa application.

Yeah. They have a points based immigration system. You can use the calculator on their website to see how many points you have based on age, education, work experience, language, skills and how you stand against the minimal threshold to apply. If I remember correctly, you’ll need a job offer to go through with the visa application.

Hm sounds like Australia doesn't ask for a job offer. I'll look more into both though.
