Well, time is passing by and we haven't done much regarding "taking action". So...please tell us if you any ideas about who to contact and what to say

I say that we contact the house majority leader and tell him to stop being such an @ssh0le (well, not like that, but something in those lines )

If you have any ideas or links to share this is the time to bring them to the public.

I've been writing to Hastert twice weekly for the past month. He seems to be an important figure so we should target him. We could send an official one from our group. We should talk about the GOP's inability to come up with a solution, the time wasted on these ridiculous hearings, and of course including DREAM in any proposal. In one response to my letters, he told me straight out that he favored comprehensive reform. So after reading about the hearings, and the fact that his office is helping spearhead the smear campaign against the Senate bill, I called him out on it.

I'm not a constituent of his district, and he won't respond if you're not. However, if you tell him that you have friends or family in his district, he might write back.

At any rate, Hastert is turning into a big piece of garbage.

What's goin' on with the personal stories? Is there some way we could publish them? It's important that somehow we get DREAM into the mainstream. I wonder if anyone has thought about writing a book on the subject.

You know what could be impressive is have about 10-15 people write a personal story about themselves (even if its only a page) and send it as a package to certain important officials. the only things is we would have to have a central place to mail them all to. its an idea though..

Have we reached a decision on the day and time of the online chat sessions?
