Hey guys....this article was written a few weeks ago, but I felt it's still worth a share.
It may have an explanation why that hateful hag Brewer is taking so long...

Quote:
So, the qualified young people -- roughly 13,000 in Arizona -- can get licenses, right?

Wrong.

The governor hasn't yet changed her mind.

And there are rumors at the state Capitol that she will not change her mind and instead get members of the Republican majority to write a bill that would codify her original order into law.
Quote:
I asked the governor's spokesman, Matt Benson, if she were close to making a decision.

He sent me an e-mail saying, "The feds took seven months to decide these individuals would have lawful presence, so the governor needs just a bit of time to review what this bit of guidance means for the State of Arizona and our regulations governing driver's licenses.

"I don't have a time-frame for you today, but I know she'd like to get this resolved as quickly as possible."

I hope the delay isn't just part of a plan to push through legislation that continues to block these young people -- who already have the right to stay here and work -- from getting driver's licenses.

And I understand the governor's frustration. Seven months is a long time to wait for the federal government to act.

Then again, these kids have been waiting all of their lives.

Because they have been waiting all of their lives, they can wait a few more months for the fed to act on it

Lou Barletta career has to be over.

Last week, he insisted Republicans will not win over Latino voters by passing immigration reform because undocumented immigrants are, according to him, uneducated and and therefore unlikely to support the GOP.

sorry for hijacking thread. but this is regarding the GOP and their crappy agendas.

People who had attend college are more likely to vote Democrats. I'm just saying.

USCIS should just grant no Real ID extension to Arizona, maybe if Brewer gets asked for a US passport to board a plane she'll back the fuck off.
