I really wish people would stop calling it an amnesty. Idiots.

At the end of the day, the American voters have spoken and have expressed the need for Immigration Reform, nobody cares what an irrational fringe group has to say.

Do you guys really think that USCs actually want a reform for us or just like the idea of a more secure border?

The big difference fron 06,07 is that momentum is on our side. We have told our stories over and over again. The American people know and can relate to dreamers. Back then the country did not know what the latino community could really do. The demographics have changed and nearly every politician wants their share of the latino vote.

This racist cannot stop us forever!!!

Both, actually.

They realize on a certain level that mass deportations wouldn't work and would actually be more of a problem for them in the long run. Who would do the jobs that undocumented people are currently doing? Remember, our family members and many of us filled those jobs because few Americans were interested in doing them to begin with.

Not to mention who is going to pay to round up 11 million people? If we can work, drive and get educations we will be an asset to the U.S. in the long run. And I believe more USCs understand the positive economic impact of CIR than they did back in 2006 and 2007.

Lol. What is so wrong with the word amnesty anyway? In biblical term, it means to pardon or forgive. Isn't that supposed to be a good thing? Sad to see that anti-immigrants are politicizing this term into a negative one.
