Quick question. This will be my first time flying. I have DACA and I will be flying with my state ID. I'm flying from Chicago to LA, but there will be a layover in Phoenix, AZ, which is uhhh... well, we all know how we feel about Arizona. So my question is, should I bring my EAD with me? I don't know if they'll ask me for something more than an ID. I don't want to bring it in fear of losing it, but just in case...? should I?

Nah, you should be fine. And I'm one of those unfortunate Dreamer who currently lives in Phoenix.

This, of course, is assuming you have a DL or other means of identification.

I've never been checked at a layover point. There shouldn't be an ID check after your initial TSA entry--unless there's some freak random inspection in PHX that day... LOL

I've been through PHX multiple times on Southwest, US Airways (and now American), never been checked.

If you have DACA, don't worry about domestic flights. Bring your EAD with you if your state id has some flags about your status.

Now a days, you need a passport to travel domestically. They are not accepting DL without the star on it which us illegals cannot get.
