I just looked through 2014 renewal threads and we were just freaking out like we are now lol. Looking back the mass approvals started coming in August. So let's keep our hopes up and fingers crossed.

http://dreamact.info/forum/showthread.php?t=67739

Feel free to read through.

I've been panicking ever since August but I tried not to think about it for the last few days because there's nothing I can do at this point. I have a good feeling we'll get approved soon because it just doesn't make sense that they'll screw so many people's life over. With them keeping stats they must know that some people's EADs are about to expire. Everyone please have hope!
A post from 2014, does it sound familiar?

The difference was that we applied around june and this time around we applied mostly in march for those with 8/17 expiration dates. That year I was expecting the worst. This year, however, we applied within the recommended time and we still haven't heard anything. That year, my renewal was accepted a month prior my expiration date. This year, I only have two weeks left. Thats why this is all BS from uscis.

I love what you are trying to do here! I really do.
However this time around more and more people are talking about how they lost their jobs....

Yes, it is different this time around. I do remember freaking out a little in 2014, but got renewed about a month before my EAD expired. This renewal I'm now down to exactly 14 days until I expire. I've mentally prepared myself for the likelihood that I may lose my job, health insurance, driver's license, and the house that I was in the process of buying.

All I can do is pray that doesn't come to fruition...

It won't! You're going to be approved before then.

Last time around, I applied in the suggested window and got approved the same day that my card expired. I understand the stress of a last-minute approval so just hang in there, all.

I wish I had at least gotten my biometrics letters after 108 days after acceptance.
MAYBE we're being paranoid, when im not even in line to get reviewed without a bio.... Yeah with less than a month before my expiration...... unjustified...

The difference is back then at this time we began to see stories of people being approved much faster than now. People would make threads about how they have been approve and they got their EADs and whatnot. That really encourage people to have hope. This year, ive seem nothing but people freaking out that they have lost their jobs or their expiration is in weeks. Last time is was months, even just 2 months they were freaking out. I am worried too now, I got a 3 year EAD (got it before that judge became an ass) Will they renew it on time or will I be freaking out as well? I mean I suppose my license is valid for 6 more years so at least even with an expired EAD my ID still valid. By the way, in most states your licenese/ID expires the same time your EAD does. They are linked together. Having an expire ID not only will cause you to lose your job but lose your driving priviliges
