DAPers, this is a call to action! Trump was elected specifically to pass CIR! We should mobilize right now rather than backing away and protesting! I have seen it in his eyes during the meeting with Obama. God bless Trump and help him see the light and not be influenced by losers like Kobach! The real estate tycoon with the flamboyant hairstyle will fare well with immigration and in the moguls own words, ITS GOING TO BE A BEAUTIFUL THING.

Here's the perfect compromise. Pass Immigration reform. Charge a $2-3K fine per person. That would pay for the damn Wall! I sincerely hope Dream Activists can work with Trump. It's doable!

God does not only want us to continue working legally with DACA but he wants more by passing CIR for our families! Hence Trump was elected! Hillary would have never compromised with Republicans in passing CIR, no disrespect to the Secretary.

MAKE DAP GREAT AGAIN.

Immigration

Trump's incendiary rhetoric aimed at undocumented Mexican immigrants and calls to build a massive border wall and deport those here illegally were the central pillar of his presidential campaign. But in the immediate years leading up to his 2016 campaign, Trump described himself as "down the middle" on the issue of illegal immigration, and spoke forcefully against deporting undocumented immigrants who had lived in the US for many years.

Speaking about undocumented immigrants on CNBC in June 2012, Trump said, "I also understand how, as an example, you have people in this country for 20 years, they've done a great job, they've done wonderfully, they've gone to school, they've gotten good marks, they're productive — now we're supposed to send them out of the country, I don't believe in that, Michelle, and you understand that. I don't believe in a lot things that are being said."

Eight months earlier, in an interview on "Fox and Friends," Trump had said he supported "amnesty" for some undocumented immigrants, saying, "how do you tell a family that's been here for 25 years to get out?"

And following Mitt Romney's 2012 defeat, Trump called Romney's position on self-deportation for undocumented immigrants "maniacal" and "mean-spirited." A month later, again on "Fox and Friends" in December 2012, he implored Republicans to take the lead on immigration reform or it would "never win another election."

He was backpedaling on immigration just a few months ago. Who knows what he will do.

He's a freaking flip flopper. He also praised the Clintons and he used to be a Democrat. He's not the one that's really going to be making the decisions. Wall is not gonna happen. Mass deportations of millions will not happen. Some deportations will happen. He will reverse Obama's immigration acts definitely.

Okay. Thank you for your prediction. If you think that's going to happen, start making your plans because January 20 Trump gets inaugurated. With your logic your deportation will start on 21st. And also by your logic Obama is a flip flipper too. Take a look at his meeting with Trump today.

He should just charge current DACA recipients 5k for a path to citizenship. 5k * 800k recipients = 4 billion dollars. He would like that.

Lol how is Obama a flip flopper? He had to meet with the President-elect. It's not by choice. He isn't a flip flopper as to change parties for whenever it suits him. Don't kid yourself. He will deport a lot of people. And we are all making plans. I didn't specify it would be the 21st but immigration is in his first 100 days plan according to his own words so I dunno. Appreciate your positivity but also helps to be a little realistic.

5k? Some DACAers can barely afford the $465 fee to get a chance to get deported lol

The only way he can rationalize to his base is if he does something like this.

Make us proud Trump. Deport the criminals for sure but the hardworking immigrants like us? That would be dumb. Shit I'd fork over $5000 without hesitation to be a citizen
