In light of recent news, I think it is imperative that we are aware of what Pence's stance on immigration reform is.

Please read his plan here.

Since the date of this article is an issue. Here's a more recent one with his previous plan outlined, which he reiterates his commitment to.

Mike Pence: Some Undocumented Immigrants Can Stay — After They Leave

Trump was slated to deliver a policy speech on immigration this week but cancelled planned trips to several western states. Pence, on Sunday, said that Trump will give "more detail in next two weeks that lays out all the policies" on immigration."

He also suggested this week that undocumented immigrants could potentially return, telling CNN, "There is no path to legalization unless people leave the country."

The "touchback" policy seemingly floated by the GOP ticket this week could mimic the very proposal Pence laid out in 2006 while serving in Congress. Then-Congressman Pence proposed in a speech to the Heritage Foundation that the U.S. require all undocumented immigrants to return to their native countries but then work through a new guest-worker program to return — within as quickly as a week — to their place of employment.

Also, he is the vp. If Trump has the willingness to cooperate, who gives a sh** what that troll thinks.

Few things to consider here. First, that article is ten years old. Second, I understand he could be influential but not to a degree a president is. Third, we are out of the shadows. They have to deal with us before implementing any kind of related legislation. I sense we have momentum. Let's keep the good vibes going, crossing fingers next year is our year!!

People should be giving a sh*t since odds of Trump being impeached within his 1st term is at the minimal, decent. If Trump is impeached, then Pence is the president.

Pence is not the type of politician to care about what others think.

Yes, I am aware this is from 2006. Hence the title.

And considering he still floated this idea on the campaign trail in August 2016, his point of view and plan is still the same and therefore relevant.

And honestly, I don't think you guys are giving him credit for the level of influence a VP can have. Seems like we have all forgotten the impact of Dick Cheney during the Bush Years.

This is the plan they want and this is why Anne Coulter and other right wing pundits were having a meltdown a few days ago on social media because they know that between Pence and Paul Ryan, mass deportations are less likely to happen...but this plan might.
