Dreamer' Immigrant in Oregon Detained by US Authorities

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A 25-year-old man who had been allowed to stay in the U.S. because he was brought illegally into the country as a child was detained Sunday by immigration agents, activists said.

Francisco J. Rodriguez Dominguez was picked up at his home by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, immigration lawyer Stephen Manning said. The leader of an immigrant rights group said the agency detained him because he has a misdemeanor for DUI, but officials with the agency did not return a newspaper's call for comment.

Apparently a second dreamer was detained by ICE in Portland, OR. Emmanuel Ayala was in the process of renewing his DACA. I'm not sure if he has a criminal record though

DUI is pretty serious. There's also very little room for mistake...

If you look up "Cita Con Nelly" on facebook there is a video posted his family talking about it. He was just detained this Sunday but they don't say if he has a record or not.

They can deport your ass for a DUI even if you have a green card. FYI.

This is exactly the type of "dreamer" that ruins it for the rest of us. Thankfully I am now a permanent resident, but for those who are still at the mercy of DACA, this is just ammo for the opponents of DACA.
