You know why? Washington State is one of the few places where you can get a driver's license without legal status. They have been raiding their DMVs for a while, NM is next, then CT, and DC.

No, they are going after all the people who got discretion in the past: ppl who are long-term residents, ppl w children, ppl who aged out of Daca. They wait for the next check-in to arrest ppl instead because ppl withour criminal records don't have warrants. It is bad. They are targeting all those whose cases are known to the field office. I live here and that is what is happening. Everyone says the targets are criminals, but that is not what is being reported.

I guess it's about quota numbers. Failing ICE. Sad!

Seems like they are trying to punish sanctuary cities. Ironically it might be safer to be in a place like Texas as long as you don't get involved with local police.

I have never had contact with police. All on orders of supervision, final orders, admin closure are targets. Ppl went from not being a priority, to being treated as criminals worth of expulsion.
