Trump’s deal with Democrats to raise the U.S. borrowing limit and keep the government running for three month months — all in the name of speeding relief to hurricane victims — quickly passed Congress and gave him the opportunity to savor a victory after months of legislative setbacks.

He’s now talking about possible future deals with Democrats — doing away with votes on the raising the debt cap, and shielding from deportation young immigrants living in the United States illegally who came brought here as children.

When Trump won the presidency, I never thought I would read such words.

He liked being in the media for something positivite for once.

Passing the DA will be a great legacy for him and give him a lot of good coverage.

Completely agree. He’s gonna need to tighten that leash on McConnell too.

We know how much he hates Obama. Passing the Dream Act would be a huge accomplishment for him, being able to do something Obama wasn't able to.

I hope Schumer and Pelosi lay off critiquing him until the DA is passed

I hope they can get a deal before Trump changes his mind.

This was from last year

“I mean, I’ve contributed to Schumer, I contribute — I’ve known Schumer for many, many years,” he continued. “And I have a good relationship with him. The fact is that I think it is time maybe that we all do get along.”
