“As we have said in the past, there will be no amnesty,” White House spokesperson Lindsay Walters told reporters aboard Air Force One. “Absolutely by no means will this White House discuss amnesty and the president has made it clear how he feels about no amnesty.”

She said Trump is wants “responsible path forward” for DACA recipients that might allow them to obtain U.S. citizenship.

What the Trump administration will discuss is a responsible path forward in immigration reform,” she said. “That could include legal citizenship over a period of time.”

Sounds good to me ! They are fighting back against the breibart and coulters . I also see some dreamers using the word amnesty around here . That word doesn't actually help our cause in any way .

It's not amnesty. We are deserving of relief!!! We are basically Americans and are hard working and studious!

The word Amnesty has different meaning for different people. Lately I see some immigrants/Dream a Act supporters at rallies carrying signs saying "AMNESTY NOW!". Why would you do such a thing? Why not have a sign that says "COMROMISE NOW!" Instead? You're selling yourself short by asking for "Amnesty Now!" This is by no means an amnesty!

theres a simple correlation why users such as pianos, bad.bunny, immigrant are adamant against the DREAM ACT passing this year.

it's simple, they dont want it to pass because they don't want Trump to have a win on anything because they hate him so much and are still butt-hurt over last years election.
dont get me wrong, Trump is the most unqualified person to be POTUS, but at this point we have to deal with this issue in a pragmatic manner.

Also, once the DREAM ACT passes in the next couple of months, people like pianos and bad.bunny realize that they will become irrelevant. Pianos wont be able to tout his AP numbers and his post counts anymore because nobody would be coming here. His sole reason of existence is coming here and getting a rise out of people. This is practically where he lives, other than his minimum wage poverty line job.

As long as there is no legalization for us, Pianos will continue to thrive and be alive in this forum. that's what he wants.

I wouldn't be so quick to lump Pianos in the same category as those 2 other salty snowflakes. Otherwise, I agree with you 100%. Obviously he's the most unqualified person to be a president but damn it, at least he's standing up for us!

UWD has people saying stuff like "yes to relief, no to enforcement ". They'll be our downfall.

UWD is our single greatest threat. They have proven time after time that they are unwilling to compromise, pushing for unrealistic agenda that have no chance of passsing while helping to antagonize the mainstream constituents to fight against our collective cause.
