Pelosi spoke at CHIRLA Event today. See below for video. Pelosi starts speaking around 9:18

https://www.facebook.com/chirlausa/v...8839212810887/

Some points Pelosi made:

1) She still has confidence that Trump supports the DREAMers
2) She mentioned discharge petition, and she believes the votes are there
3) Talks about border security (with no internal enforcement) as possible compromise, no specifics (she pushed back against the idea that a compromise is selling out other undocumented people)

Have you guys seen what happened in the last 18 hours with the Obamacare Payment Deals? He's changed his stance like 6 times in 18 hours. He's a moron who has no clue what he's doing. Hopefully best option is to force his hand to sign the bill in December.

Asked if Dream Act could pass in budget process when Ds have leverage, Pelosi: “It could. But I hope that we can do the Dream Act sooner.”

Speaking of which, didn't take more than 2 seconds for Dem's and R's to come up with a solution for that. Shows you who really owns our politicians. I don't see Dem's saying they would attach DA to that 'must pass' legislation.

Pelosi’s new suggestion that Democrats will oppose any new enforcement provisions may be designed to counter Trump’s approach — a case of each side laying out their partisan wish lists ahead of more detailed compromise negotiations. Or it could be a signal that Democratic leaders are moving toward a strategy — championed by Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) — of insisting on a clean DACA fix as part of end-of-the-year budget negotiations, when GOP leaders will need Democratic votes to prevent a government shutdown.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has said the Republicans want to address the issue before the March 5 deadline Trump set for ending DACA. He did not say when.

Pelosi this week characterized Trump’s decision to rescind DACA as “heartless,” but also said she’s confident the president will follow through on his promise to help the participants legislatively.

“I trust he will honor that commitment because the American people want him to do so,” she said in Los Angeles.

"We must get this done by the end of the year."

Screaming at them saying they will only agree to roads as border security measures!!! Lmaooo
Trump is an idiot. Democrats were giving him a sure fire win and he backtracked to save face.

Now democrats will fight for a clean DA and conservatives will get nothing.
