Man arrested after driving into pro DACA and TPS protesters

BREA – A 56-year-old man was arrested Thursday afternoon, Oct. 26 after driving into a crowd of protesters at an intersection near Rep. Ed Royce’s office in Brea.

The suspect, a Brea resident whose name hadn’t been released, was arrested by police on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon. No injuries were reported.

The man’s motive for driving through the crowd was under investigation, Lt. Kelly Carpenter said.

The protest started with 150 to 200 supporters of DACA demonstrating near Royce’s downtown office at around 1 p.m. The congressman was not in his office at the time...

also isint the U visa for when the police need your cooperation with an investigation so in order to eliminate fear of deportation they grant you a u visa for your cooperation.
