WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Deporting immigrants who came to the United States illegally as children will not be a top federal law enforcement priority even if lawmakers do not pass a program to protect them, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security chief said in an interview aired on Tuesday.

Somewhat good news but I think it comes down to the officer’s discretion. Regardless, play it safe out there.

Whats the point if you cant work, study (out of state tuition), or provide for your family, etc. These people in charge of this administration will burn in hell.

Didn’t they once said that only illegal immigrants who had committed crimes and were at high risk would be their top priority? Yet who did we see getting deported yesterday, an immigrant who had a clean record and was paying taxes and was actually trying to fix his status the “right way” before the system turned his back on him. We can’t trust their word honestly.

There are no priorities. Trump administration rescinded the priorities that Obama administration had in regards to who should be targeted. Every undocumented person is a priority.

going from GCs for Christmas to thanking for not being a deportation priority. This past month has been one hell of roller-coaster.

This is why I don't believer her:

Quote:
Early last year, Trump issued an executive order expanding deportation priorities and rendering all categories of “removable aliens”subject to enforcement by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
All categories including DREAMers
