Even though there may only be $1.6 billion in Senate spending bill for wall, DHS is on target to get some substantial increases in the bill. Some $ could be devoted to other border security activities.
Quote:
Unclear if Trump can live with $1.6 for border wall in Senate spending bill. Effort by Trump to kill the deal could mean NO money for the wall. However, Dems could also blow up deal over migrant kids. If either sides balks, chances increase geometrically for a gov't shutdown

Are Democrats giving a wall down payment in exchange to fix the issue of families being separated, but nothing for Dreamers? Am I understanding this right?

It's not about us anymore guys. The dems has moved on from us. First it was TPS, then DACA, now it's minor children..

If this administration wasn’t about separating families the Democrats wouldn’t have to focus their attention on this issue

Look at this great leverage democrats will choose not to use. Democrats will just give out money to fix it. And then this admin will create another atrocious policy and keep cashing in. Dont get me wrong this issue needs to get resolved asap, but maybe you can kill 2 birds with one stone. But it seems that dems arent planning to help us.

Wtf I’m in the minority then when I say “Kids are only separated briefly while their parents are being processed for deportation and not separated for more than a few hours maximum” ???

There is no issue to be solved here....

So Repubs will keep thinking up policies to hold Dems hostage over and over so they never have to deal with other issues like TPS and DACA...lol...

...Well if the strategy works...lol...smh...
