Should I renew ASAP?

given that congress wants to diminish every possibility to work.

House Speaker Paul Ryan said he doesn’t want legislation to help "Dreamers" included in an end-of-year spending deal, and predicted the courts, not Congress, will decide the fate of young people who came here illegally as children.

They won't approve anything until it's within 6 month range. So I don't see the point.

Yes but once they accept the money there is a chance that they will process...

That's what I'm thinking too... the official cancellation allowed for any in-process applications to remain in-process.

I'm thinking I'm going to resubmit about... 15 months early myself.

So best bet is to reapply ASAP or do I have time until the court's decision?

If you apply 15 months or earlier, let us know USCIS's response. A lot of people are unsure what will happen and how they will finally end daca.

Also, the article does not mean much, the house is Rep controlled and can pass anything along party lines but in the senate, they will need democratic votes to pass a bill. Also the next shut down will most likely be caused by trump trying to get boarder wall money. Any substantial boarder wall funding will be dead on arrival in the senate unless there is a resolution for dreamers; that is, unless dems lose their spine and betray their own immigration message..
