Could the Supreme Court give us straight-up citezenship ?

The SC is determining whether or not DACA is legal to do. Not if we are entitled to citizenship.

I understand. My curiosity was to find out whether they have the power to do it if so they choose to in different circumstances.

I think they have the power to do it, but only when it relates to interpretation of a law. Depending on the political bend of the court they can "interpret" the law in certain ways by applying an interpretation to it.

I figure if you could find a law that benefits us in that way, and the right court to do it, you could probably pull it off.
