I dont know if this has been posted, but it looks like USCIS is going to increase fees for everything.

I-765 Application for Employment Authorization from $380 to $410, biometrics remains the same at $85. Your new total will be $495. Thank you very much for your business.

When does this take effect? For those about to renew, do we send in $465 or $495?

Don't worry. You'll KNOW when they change it. It'll be in big red bold letters. The changes should take months, as of right now it's still the same amount

They should really give us 3 year DACA again. $465, $495 every two years is a lot of money

I think this is a good sign. What do you all think? This means they think that DACA will prevail next month? I really don't care about fees. They can raise it to $1,000 as long as DACA passes.

$1,000 hold on there Richie Rich, that's a lot of money to spend every 2 years.

People are trying to buy houses, pay for weddings, car loans, schooling, and $1000 is a lot.

Heck they could charge 10k every two years for all I care. They can build a wall with the proceeds if they want. As long as the program stands unchallenged that would be fine with me.

$500/2 years is $21 a month or $0.68 day. That's probably less than your gym membership, your cell phone bill, 1 Starbucks coffee a week, 5 drinks at a bar per month etc. You have two years to save up $500 for the best possible investment you could possibly make on yourself.

I know sometimes things can get tough and that people are saving up for their goals, but this is really important. Recently I had to front 2k+ to friends who didn't prepare for their renewal fees. I don't expect to get that money back. It wasn't because they couldn't; it was because they wouldn't.

lol, why stop at 10k

make it 20k so only people like us can benefit from this. This effectively eliminates atleast the other 40% that earns a poverty salary.

I actually would like daca to cease so only those in the MAVNI program can benefit.
