Hey guys,

The college I attend has a few short term (1-2 weeks) study abroad programs available for summer 2021. I was thinking about using AP to apply for one of those programs. Has anyone been successful in using AP to study abroad in the past?

lots of people in the forum. although, if you're going to spend $500+ for the AP and probably a few grand for the trip, might as well try a longer program.

Countless number of people. Do not get a lawyer. This is one of the easiest things to do. The only proof you need is basically your admission in the specific program and some sort of letter proving that you have been accepted in the study abroad, basically anything that will prove your admission.

how long can you be gone for? Like can I get into a Canadian school for a 4 year program and then come back in 4 years?

The longest for AP at least verified on this site is about a year with multiple entries. And theoretically, one could go for a semester, come back on break, apply for AP again, and have it approved before the second semester ends.

However long you have to...You have to prove it that you have to be out for that long...

In your example however, that sounds problematic, you have DACA for maximum 2 years but not more than that...how can you get AP for 4 years? That one I am not too sure about...but lets say you want to go study abroad for like 6 months - 1 year, that is totally doable as long as you prove it and apply accordingly.

Also, I believe once you get AP say for like 6 months...when you come back under that time period, I think its over, you have to apply for AP all over again to go out again....I may be wrong on that. I'm not well versed about the multiple entry.

Wait

You want to be physically out of the USA for 4 years or use AP multiple times to go to Canada for a 4 year plan

The latter as 2Face said might actually be doable. The excuse matches as education
