This is an FYI, as I've seen some people say Canada is their backup plan if DACA gets permanently shut down. You cannot apply for Canada directly from the US if your DACA is not valid (that is, if you do not have any lawful status in the US). You would then have to go back to your country of origin to apply for Canada from there.

If DACA is shut down it could be immediate or it could be phased out, but likely the phasing out will not be enough time to start the Canada process by the time you know DACA is finished.
