They aren’t talking about it, because they fear the anti-immigration wing of their party.”

“They’re afraid to even mention the word ‘Hispanic,’” he said.

Right, because Republicans are busy at work making inroads on the issue. Particularly with such Hispanic-friendly legislations like the ending of Birthright Citizenship, and their state-level push for E-verify.

Freaking idiots.

It would be nice if the GOP got the message all of a sudden. It would mean a more moderate, diverse party in the long run, and, best of all, DREAM in the short run, followed by CIR at a later time.

But the word "conservative" by its very definition implies reactionary tendencies, so, I don't think so for now.
