Karl Rove on Comprehensive Immigration Reform

The GOP is dead.

"Republicans must find a way to support secure borders, a guest-worker program and comprehensive immigration reform that strengthens citizenship, grows our economy and keeps America a welcoming nation. An anti-Hispanic attitude is suicidal."

What does "strengthen citizenship" even mean? Remember that "comprehensive immigration reform" does not necessarily mean a path to legalization. It's gotten that connotation because of 2007's failed bill, but for all we know, Rove means "reform" of other kinds that still screws people in our position and others who deserve a shot.
