Fox News (the pro-republican news station) gives support to immigration reform. First Lou Dobbs backs CIR, now Fox News agrees that our system is broken. This is great news for us. This Spring is looking better and better. Maybe this can be Obamas first "success" as president.

LOL, how the hell did you get to that conclusion from that article? Just because they have that article on their website doesn't mean they support immigration reform.

The part of the system that is broken and they want to change is immigration enforcement and deportation.

"The report recommends about 60 reforms, including hiring more judges, extending deadlines and a system make over."

I am not sure how much clearer it can get. Fox News is putting a pro-reform study on it's site. Fox News is the source of information for millions of republicans.

The reform they are looking for there is for them to have a bigger number in the force that deals with immigrants. Not to give us status.

Acknowledging that the immigration system is broken is far from supporting the immigration reform that we are looking for.

Well, to play devil's advocate here for a minute, Bill O'Reilly IS in favor of CIR and he's still the number one broadcaster in that xenophobic/racist/homophobic comedy channel.

Also Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corp, is in favor of the Dream Act. He even signed onto that letter along with people like Michael Bloomberg, and Richard Parsons.

Not that this means anything since they still have Hannity and Master Teabagger Glenn Beck on their payroll.

they dont support shit... just because they have SAID, once upon a time, that they support a reform for immigration doesn't mean they support the reform WE are seeking. If it was up to those guys, we would probably not even exist.

I havent read the article...i will now. But if it is true, it is actually big news. Millions of people watch fox news, more than CNN and MSNBC. If they talk positively of CIR their viewers will open thier minds and be more receptive to CIR. And the more media we can get on our side the better. And generally speaking, the FOX news watchers are less likely to support CIR.
