Flip Flopper!!! Whats sad is the democrats is that they continue to win the latino vote. He can shove "change" up his ass. I don't even believe Durbin anymore if has the votes then what the hell is he waiting for? it seems clear to me its a ploy. Am i the only one who sees this shit?

The equation is simple democrats don't have a spine. If the Republicans were democrats this bill would have been passed a long time ago... I'll take those statements back REPUBLICANS did pass Immigration reform it was spearheaded by man names Ronald Regan in 1986.

If the situation is the same at the end of this year. I say we all have countries and we should all pack our bags and get the fuck out. If you are in fear of persecution then file for asylum. That's if they consider you that is, or apply somewhere other than Britain. Trust me you don't want to go there. Unfortunately i'm tired of fucking begging. Cause there is no way anything is gonna pass with tea baggers and conservative dems coming into power this November.

I do recognize all those who are putting their time, blood and sweat for all the protesting but then the question is "WHY WOULD THEY CARE? we are not citizens we are not gonna throw them out of office?" if you want to make a statement then we should all line up in DC use gasoline and set our selves in flames and have billboards that says "Burned Dream" then they might start to show a bit more concern about the rest of the dreamers. imagine the chaos if someone was to do that?

The sad part about is I once believed. I'll give em till the end of this year and then i'm out. I don't want to come on dreamact.info in another 5 years and still talk about this same shit "how their planning to talk about immigration.." which will also be a couple of months before the election to get the battle state latino votes. I don't want to live my life like this so why should you?

Sorry for being pessimist but its reality. What a Fucking shame....

Dreamer777 if you can some how finish college try finishing it. I'm working on my bachelors degree as well but i have one semester left. The thing is at least you will be able to apply to other countries with a degree. Milk this county as much as possible and then leave. Its not your fault for them not wanting you here. So take advantage if you can or while you can.

dude you know its true. something inside you wants to agree with me. Its not like we are not contributing. My parents pay taxes and for what purpose? we are not citizens so why should we not take advantage of what we could? if they dont want us to be a part of them. In a way it true some of us do get a way with instate tuition. I'm glad we do.

i agree, dont worry.. you didnt say anyhting bad by saying "milking"... my mom and i do pay taxes as well, 35% of my paychek every week goes to fund the state and the federal gov... u are fighting to better urself so u dont end up milking those big tities like many citizens do.. but if they dont recognize that, take advantage of w/e u have left... when legal immigrants and americans will stop doing i; then ill shut up, but until then... ur asking to finish skool that u pay with ur OWN money, ur just milking the opportunity, not the system... u didnt force them to accept u to skool, the law let u, so thats it...

Um..he actually had to do that to avoid criticism for endorsing a boycott in one of the states that he was elected as President to serve. Now, how does that look to anti-immigration people or at the very least the people that are on the fence about the path to citizenship that the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is putting the undocumented (in their minds ILLEGAL) residents of the country ahead of the fears and concerns of CITIZENS and LEGAL immigrants?

Come on, folks. He had to say that or the resulting shit storm would have completely killed our chances of reform whether it's now, next year or ever for that matter.

Wow, this is the second time today that I read an outstanding post by you. No wonder you give Feenmi a hard-on.

One of the participants in the Univision immigration debate a couple weeks ago (he was pro-reform) said exactly the same thing: It is a shame that Obama still has the support of the Latino and the immigrant community. As a group they are blinded (just like the t-baggers) in their support of this administration and the Democrats. He was pretty much telling the audience - reading between-the lines - to not blindly support politicians that don't look out for the communities' interests. They keep making a ruckus about repealing the the AZ law when repealing it, does

I lost my faith in Obama and the Dems last year with their flip-flopping on immigration. And I agree 100% with @kilan 21's post.

They've lost 5 votes in my family for November and for Obama in 2012. Ha!

yeah that's what he's good at, when things get heated up from us, and we put pressure on them.. he comes out saying, " he supports CIR and needs to do something" just to avoid criticism.... but then when we're calm because we're gassed up with false hope.. and we're out here waiting for him to do something.... still He doesn't do anything..... so its hard to believe anything he says.... so its like waiting for nothing..
