First of all I want to say thank you to any and all the people who go out and pursue the Dream Act. I'd also like to know if anybody has ever sent out any letters to our senators who oppose the Dream Act? I know the list of those who oppose is on the homepage for anyone to see. I was thinking...maybe if we target those who oppose we may be able to change their minds. After all, the Dream Act depends on them. Please let me know what efforts are being done. Perhaps I could join you or start an effort myself. Thank you!

Target the senators who are on the fence ! You could click on the "Others" list for the names of senators who are on the fence about the Dream Act. I sent quite a lot of postcards to these senators.

what states are you from, brenda ?

I'm from Florida. By the way, when is the Dream Act up for voting?

it's unknown now when dream act is up for voting. But hopefully it'll come up for voting this year !

Since you're from Florida, it's very beneficial if you could write letter to Senator Lemieux of FL, who is undecided on the Dream Act now.

Don't bother with the Nays. I mean, do you really think you can change Senator Session's mind, Brenda? Remember that each politician represents for 600,000 people in their district. If you plan to change the Nays to Yeas, prepare to send that much letter (and from different people) to each.

Thank you for the advice Abaddon. I honestly hadn't thought about any of the senators specifically. Victor85 suggested I focus on those that are "on the fence" which I will do. Waiting for something isn't working for me so I need to do something. I can only plan for myself and hope everybody else does the same. Thanks again for your advice and for all you do.
