I'd pay a fine. Only 3 of my 5 member family are undocumented, so its not as bad as this one family I know where 5 of them are undocumented (out of 6)

I might have to sell some of my stuff to make the money but I will do it if paying a fine becomes part of the path to attaining legal status.

btw, I am the only undocumented member in my family, uggh, I aged out of any possibilities.

Also you constantly see what you could have if you were not undocumented but you can't have those things (like a career) because you're still not like them, it's really sad.
Then again I think out of everyone I'm the only one that is strong enough to handle being undocumented as long as I have, the rest of my family is way too impatient to handle it and I don't know if they'd have been able to endure it as long as I have.
I would love to pay a fine in order to drop the "undocumented" title, I'd work hard and pay it off, at least let us have that option.
I am starting to seriously resent my family because of this, it did not take them long to seemingly forget about the complexities of my status, they actually dragged me against my will to a DMV to try and get a license because they did not want to pay for something that was not government issued (not dragged, just that I cannot drive so it really limits what I can do except protest against going there)...

And the trips, my parents have had their PR status about a year and have already traveled 3-4 times to colombia including once for a whole month while they left me house sitting.

This has nothing to do with the post, but Sofia Vergara is ridiculously hot and from Colombia. I'm just saying. . .

lol, just a response to the comment i cited, I am allowed that.

Shakira is also from Colombia, there are some ridiculously hot women from Colombia, but it does not make the country any safer, even to have lots of money could become a liability, average income is about 3.6k per year, a professional graduated from college can expect to make about twice as much as that straight out of college.

I just want to be able to go there but not be forced to live there.
