This is my second thread post and I'm kind of writing this with a bit of tiredness as I just got done helping make the tamales....anyways, as we all know many anti- Dream Act people flock to this forum just to see what we are doing, which is find by me (hey antis I just made tamales) but how about we take a peek at their websites and see what they do different from what we do.

As you can see from the title of my post I choosed the word disgusting to describe politics (poli meaning many and tics being blood sucking creatures), and while I support fillibuster reform I think the best thing we could do for Sen. Durbin is contact those Republican Senators into writing their own Dream Act.....I think before I posted a link to Mark Krikorian's colum in the National Review in which he states support for it with added stuff to it, and he wrote this colum way before the age cap was lowered. Here is the link again. http://www.nationalreview.com/corner...mark-krikorian

In the game of politics you must stand strong, you must show swagger, not hunker down...and you must get people on your side. I know some of you are going to not like this but we absolutely need someone like Sen. McCain to push for this bill. How must we force him(and other senators) well by shaming them. I know of a lot of people who are anti illegal immigration whose opinion softened when I explain the reality of Dream Act people.

Anyone from the state of Alabama I would like to ask you to dig up some dirt on Sen Jeff Sessions, we need to show the antis we are not afraid and we will bring you down. Also we must continue what we are doing, plus some other things......the only thing I would not do is go on marches, or join an activist group that was not sincere in its fight. I'm live in the state of AZ and remember how dumb it was watching all those protesters in the AZ capitol carrying incese candles, blasting on drums and singing protest songs in Spanish and then later finding out those people were not even from AZ but from California.

We must also ask all those companies in favor of the Dream Act to pressure the goverment to pass this, we must find a group of veterans to ask the armed forces to pressure the govement to pass the Dream Act, money talks and so does security.

The worst thing we could do is let the momentum die. When President Obama said we should start a grassroots movement, then how about we do just that....

Anyways enjoy the holidays,.......... man I'm tired after typing this.

We have to know our enemies. We have to showcase how prolific we are when it comes to the English language. My whole point is we can not allow this momentum/movement to be looked upon as a revolutionary charge. I ask all of us not to say shit in Spanish! I know we are all very proud of where we're from and we love our ancestry nonetheless, we must show exuberant demeanors and allegiance to the United States. When I went to the Dream Act telephone banking session in LA I did not know the press was going to be there. I wore shorts and my alumni hoodie.I felt way underdressed. People, if and when we're representing the Dream Act, we must go all out like for example we need to speak with as much eloquence as possible. If we know we'll be on tv, wear suits and make sure your tie is in place! We need to make the masses realize we are not invaders! Anyhow, I need to go. I will elaborate more later. Just wanted to drop my 2 cents in real quick... peace ya'll!
