Why are they arguing whether to give dreamers citizenship or residency? We have absoultely nothing right now.. We hit rock bottom and I would not mind getting a student visa and get a job with H1-B while on OPT. Even getting a student visa sounds like a dream come true

fyi, granting us a student visa would be an exceptional benevolence w/ someone in our situations bc currently, there is not a single pathway that we can work our way up.

Maybe you're just young and you have no idea how desperate your situation is.

I'm Okay with residency and a pathway to citizenship. I don't get what they're arguing about but it's nice to see the support Howard Dean gets.

Don't understand why Newt was even trying. Every major university in this country supports the Dream Act including big names like BC, BU, MIT, Stanford, UCLA, not to mention ALL the ivy leagues. If Obama is true to his words about "reinventing" then he will pass Dream Act this year. Fullstop.

It doesn't matter what Obama said. Obama said a lot of things. Look at the result. Result = reality. Obama said he will do best that he can to make changes in loopholes in immigration systems. That was 3 yrs ago.

Now, look at the reality. The reality is that there has been mass deportation and hasn't been a single chance for ppl like ourselves to be a pt of this society.

Don't be blinded by Obama's sugarcoated speech. Think hard about whether Obama is truly a man of his word. I think not.

This argument would make sense if the Dream act was passed already, but to me its just a bunch of hot air. Although I do appericiate Howard Deans support.

NO sir you don't get it....Howard Dean, Harry Reid, Richard Durbin, THE PRESIDENT and countless others.....they all share my point of view so NO i'm not delusional. And as far as situations go, you shouldn't think that you are the only one in a desperate situation, i think we all are, doesn't matter if your 16 or 30.....we all require it!! and NO we don't need to be second class citizens, i am no less than the person next door....thank you very much
