Hi all,

I am making a documentary about my journey as a DREAMer. I feel a moral obligation to share my story, as there are still so many people out there who are struggling with this situation, and Deferred Action is not a permanent fix. Do you guys have any ideas on scenes ? I have a rough idea of what I want but I would love your feedback. I am thinking about spending up to $3,000 on it - but you know us DREAMers don;t have much so if you have ideas for funding, that would be helpful, too. Thanks guys! Can't wait to hear your ideas

I am a film and stage actor so i might have some ideas.

1. Where are you filming this?
2. Would suggest scenes that include :
-friends that say a few things about you
-You going about your daily "routine" day, and how you interact with other people- and they are completely oblivious of your status ( neighbor, store clerk, gas stations, restaurant), Showing you are integrated into your community
-kind of like the first one- but of your hobby.
-I also had this idea "solitude" , in where you are in the middle of a busy intersetion/park/school hall, in where you blend in, but singled out because the we audience knows the your status.
-Perhaps driving, and the issues/anxieties/and possible outcome if you get caught.

I could go on... If you need help PM me.

About Funding Ideas- It is hard if it is a documentary about you, if it was a broader subject, it might be easier. But Kickstarter.com might be a good idea.
Other than that, I would suggest get local people interested to help you to decrease your spending.
