It seems like the Dream Act recieved much attention today! Senator Ried spoke in favor of such wonderful legislation as well as Senator Durbin. This somewhat helps us, but we are still in a position where passage of the DREAM Act legislation at a tough level of difficulty to obtain passage. However, this renewed push is provided to fight off the anti-immigrant bills recently introduced in both chambers of congress. Whatever the case may be, I can see activism grow in this forum as it has in the past. Maybe the DREAM Act will be debated once more this year. Either way I hope the most suitable outcome for us is achieved, but until then keeep DREAMING! I feel a congress showdown coming up...

This is no coincidence that democrats are talking about dream act at this moment. They are trying to get the message to the reps that they want dream in exchange. But who knows maybe democrats will be dum enough to not attached dream and be told by reps that they will pass it later.
