My girlfriend is trying to get health insurance for herself, but we are having trouble finding out what providers will allow an undocumented person to get health insurance through them. Do any of you have health insurance and who are the providers?

I m pretty sure you can do some digging around, I know most private Health Insurance companies probably don't care about your immigration status, they just want their money. And if they ask for a SSN, you can always suggest for her to get her Tax ID number, or maybe she has one depending on her status. EWI or Overstay. Good luck.

Yes you can get health insurance, with ANY ss number. I have individual health insurance with BLUE CROSS. I pay $57 a month for basic coverage. If you want good coverage it will cost around 100-120 if youre in your 20s.

Try asking a relative if they want to put you under you?

You can get insurance with an ITIN, insurance companies simply use the SSN for internal purposes. I use my ITIN.

Don't get Kaiser, they have you running around, making appointments weeks prior to you going. I had them, i hated them.
