The operation is part of the Obama administration's efforts to focus on removing criminal illegal immigrants and "egregious immigration law violators"

Mixed feelings over here.

I agree. If the government removes CRIMINAL (drug smugglers, sexual preadators, thieves, etc.) undocumented immigrants, that is good.

Yes. But then again, I do feel bad for people who were screwed over by their lawyers, were deported, and yet returned to the US. They will be deported if they get apprehended :-\.

Good.

I hope more people like them are deported. We literally don't have a need for them besides inciting violence, bad image, and drugs.

Let's hope Obama is doing this so that immigration relief is given to dreamers that actually have a future. Let the democrats provide proof (numbers) that portrays the fact that deportations have been stricter than ever and that its finally time for us dreamers to live a regular life.

ICE officials acknowledged that despite the large number of arrests, there were still an estimated 1 million convicted criminal aliens in the United States.

holy shit , so out of the 12 million undocumented people in this country 1 million are convicted criminals!?!?
