Quote:
Sen. Marco Rubio on Wednesday blamed Washington’s inability to produce a comprehensive immigration policy on Democrats who prefer that the issue remain unresolved so they can continue to leverage it to win the Hispanic vote.(Most republicans including Rubio oppose comprehensive immigration reform)
“I think there are some people in the Democratic Party that think that the immigration issue’s more valuable to them unsolved, that it gives them something to talk about, that they can go back to Hispanic communities and make unrealistic promises every two years and win votes,” Rubio (R-Fla.) said in an appearance on “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”

He added, “For some Democrats, the issue of immigration is better politically if they just leave it the way it is right now because they can use it against Republicans.”

Is this guy serious? Just produce your fricking "dream act" bill already and he better make sure it passes the GOP controlled house! I have a feeling he won't produce a bill anytime soon because he knows very well republicans are going to be the ones that kill it. It is better for him to just keep talking about it and putting the blame on democrats.

Are you serious? Isn't that exactly what he's doing? He has been all talk and no action.

I don't mean to sound like DA USER but i think the republicans are actually gonna pull this off. They are worried about 1 thing and 1 thing only, they don't want the democrat's to get the credit for DREAM ACT LITE which is what the current rhetoric dictates. I think the only reason they will let it fail at this point is if they actually feel like they aren't gonna get credit for it which was the only reason they introduced it!

Republicans will get the credit for DA. Democrats will for sure not let any republicans get credit for CIR. DA is going to pass. Once it passes, CIR is going to be on the table. Expect some real politics here. Dirty politics

Wait until his bill comes out. Then we'll see whether it'll pass or not. I have a feeling Rubio's playing dirty...very, very dirty.
