Evangelical Statement of Principles for Immigration Reform

Evangelicals are on our side with full force:

Our national immigration laws have created a moral, economic and political crisis in America. Initiatives to remedy this crisis have led to polarization and name calling in which opponents have misrepresented each other’s positions as open borders and amnesty versus deportations of millions. This false choice has led to an unacceptable political stalemate at the federal level at a tragic human cost.

With that being said....Amen.

Hearing religious groups backing us up is a big deal. A big f*cking deal!

Our train is finally through the first stop with the announcement, next stop seems more exciting!

Comprehensive Immigration Reform would be sooo CLUTCH. Our parents would come out of the shadows as well. Unfortunately, I think we are years away from that moment. Obama is going to accomplish it in his 3rd or 4th year of second term for sure. First term = Economy, Ending Iraq War, Health Care Reform. Second Term = Economy, Iran, IMMIGRATION.

Yeah this is actually HUGE deal
