Speaker Sheldon has a lot of power in the NY State Assembly so hopefully this will gain traction and passage through the state senate eventually!
DACA alone is enough to put a smile on a face ear-to-ear but this would definitely be the icing on the cake.

whatever happened to NY Dream Act?

They keep introducing new bills in attempt to attract positive attentions for themselves but nothing is getting passed in reality..

There's no need for NY Dream Act we have DACA now.

The NY Dream Act is basically a lie. Why? It promises nothing but an empty treasure safe that will not get filled up. Deferred Action for Child Arrival (DACA) is better.

TAP = empty treasure safe?

also, state scholarships?

I think you got yourself confused with the Cali Dream Act.

But I agree with you that it's a lie because they never voted on it.

Well hopefully this'll pass this time. Lesser tuition bill is always welcome.
