question about traveling

aright i live in South Texas so far i got the I797 receipt and the biometrics done
I've heard before that it is possible to travel INSIDE united states with this papers
for example if i go from South TX to Houston TX
do you guys think this is possible or i shouldn't believe what i hear

so you haven't been approved right?

not sure about checkpoints down there but i wouldn't risk it til you've been approved.

Just buy your ticket and have a valid passport and you're okay. Take your receips with you just incase.

Valid passport only. You'll most likely be stopped if you show your matricula.

We've always been allowed to travel. Issue only arose when TSA agents flipped through your passport finding no valid visa. In turn they would alert CPB or ICE. I recently traveled via air to California with my foreign passport. Just act normal and you'll be fine. If for whatever reason they detain you, show authorities your receipt papers stating you applied for DACA.

this past weekend I flew to Ohio from FL used my passport and had no issues what so ever. but i did take all of my receipts just in case, i know its a risk but hell #YOLO

You can travel anywhere within the USA just with a valid passport. I traveled about a year and a half ago from Newark Airport in NJ all the way to Seattle, Washington. My flight was non-stop there and back. They didn't ask me for anything just a photo ID. All I showed was my foreign passport and they didn't look at anything else and let me board the plane without any trouble. My EAD is also on its' way it has been mailed to me yesterday according to the USCIS website, with that, I will go to Puerto Rico as well =]
