This site needs some of the following mods:
global announcement
attachment
yellow card (google it)
bantron (google it)
mod_rewrite

also, you probably don't want to work on the forum too much since a new phpbb version is going to come out soon anytime now, and it's going to be completely diffrent from the current one. Other than that, this site looks good.

I looked at many mods when setting up the forum, but I'm sure you know the more you add the more problems arise, I hope the new version of phpBB has a new more controlled modding system, because all current mods are not really mods but hacks.

Global Announcement looks good I will probably install that.

Attachment hmmm I dont know, still thinking about it. Does anybody else want it?

Yellow card seems to be warning system for bans, dont need it, ban is a ban. If we need to warn someone before banning we will do it through PMs if the personal doesnt change his/her act away they go. Or is there some other advantage to that mod that I missed?

Bantron, a temprorary ban, hmm, I'll install it if and when its needed, but thanks for pointing it out.

mod_rewrite, is that some kind of search engine optimization? If yes I wanted to install something like that.

Excelent list, hopper, thanks a lot. Cant wait to see the new version of phpBB, this one is need of an upgrade.

mod_rewrite is a search engine optimization. It's actually a function in apache, there just tons of mods that do that, but I think the best one out there is the one made by able2know.com

The bantron should be installed. It's a better way for the admins to ban people. Also, you pointed out that the yellow card one is not require, and I guess it's true, I think it's only useful when you have tons of people on a forum. The attachment mod is a must....just install it, you'll see. At cosa it was use to upload schalorships, flyers, and a few other things.

I couldnt thank you enough for the info. Searching for mod_rewrite on phpbb and google for some reason gave me substandard results at best, able2know SEO looks absolutely great!

Atachment mod I guess I'll install. My main concern was with my server holding up with attachments, but thinking about it wont make the slightest bit of difference. Bantrol, if you say its good, I'll install it to at least check it out.

I hope that these add ons won't shut the site down again... but I trust you Nick.

The SEO is going to be a pain to install. I recomend nick to make a copy of the site and install it on a diffrent board so when it's ready you can just copy and paste.

I install everything manually, although its a much longer and harder process I know exactly what was changed and make backups of everything that is about to be changed.

I'll have to look deeper at what SEO actually does and if it can be installed safely.
