Damn, five years is a lot. 
But at least it's progress. Also, does this mean you get your citizenship right after you get your green card in five years, or is there another wait for that?

Dreamers can get their green cards in 5 years, and will be eligible for citizenship immediately after that. Conditional Permanent Residency (you have to complete 2 years of military or be enrolled in a higher education whichever comes first towards a B.S) , then Green Card, then Citizenship

What's been released is a multiple-page summary of the bill, the actual bill hasn't been made available just yet.
It sounds just like the last DREAM act. Meaning 5.5 years as a conditional permanent resident, then the removal of conditions at the end of that period after having served in the military or gone to college for 2 years. The cool thing is that you'll be able to apply for your citizenship right after you remove the conditions. Essentially, all the 5.5 years as a conditional resident count towards the accumulation of time required to apply for USC. Something mentioned in the last DREAM act is that you cannot apply for your citizenship while in a conditional status.
