Hello everyone,

This is an opportunity to participate on a survey that will be compensating its participants with $20 for 15-20 minutes that they will take to complete the survey. To take advantage of this opportunity potential participants have to register here, and they will be e-mailed in the future with instructions on how to complete the survey online provided they qualify.

The purpose of this survey is to determine what are some of the struggles immigrants are facing today, whether they have applied for DACA or not. Ultimately we hope that this important survey will be used to influence future immigration policy, encourage scholarship, and inform community organizations about the challenges being faced for the communities they are representing. While we are unable to vote this may be another way to have our voices heard.

The survey went live yesterday, July 1st, and it is part of the National UnDACAmented Research Project, the longest research project that has been approved to date on undocumented youth focusing on all the states in the nation. It is a project being carried out Dr. Roberto Gonzales from Harvard University and Dr. Veronica Terriquez from the University of Southern California.

Instructions on who qualifies may be found on the registration page linked above. In addition, I would like to emphasize that we will be taking additional steps to ensure the anonymity of individuals taking this survey, there will be no way to connecting the responses from the survey to the person that registered, all information collected will be kept in a secured and locked room and furthermore, participants that choose to participate may skip any questions they do not feel comfortable in answering.

This is an important survey and I hope I can encourage you to take it, if you know someone that may qualify please forward them this information and let them know to sign up on the registration form listed above.

Thanks,
Daniel Garcia

It is legitimate,

I am currently working with Dr. Gonzales as one of the Research Assistants for this project. The gift cards will be sent out once we verify the survey has been completed by someone that registered before hand, that process will take about a week to a week and a half but the gift cards will be sent to the e-mail address that you use.

Once you register to take the survey you will be contacted via e-mail with instructions on how to complete the survey.

We have received over 800 survey responses, the gift card information for those respondents will start going out soon.
