Steve King surprised that she can speak English and isn't a drug smuggler.

Quote:
OKOBOJI, IOWA– Prominent Dreamer Erika Andiola, who arrived to the U.S. at 11 years old, confronted Rep. Steve King at his Iowa fundraiser on his continued effort to kill DACA: “If you really believe in deporting Dreamers like myself, here is my DACA so you can rip it.” Rep. King suprised Erika spoke English.

In 2012, the President promulgated the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that granted deportation relief and work authorization to Dreamers - undocumented immigrant who arrived to the U.S. as children.

House Republicans voted on Friday to end DACA program and strip protections from undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers, putting more than a half-million young people at risk for deportation despite their longstanding ties to the United States.

Erika joined Iowa Dreamers to help remind Rep. King that Dreamers are not afraid to defend DACA so President Obama shouldn’t be afraid to take executive action.

Senator Rand Paul ran away as soon as the immigration discussion began. The video shows Paul's staff clearly extracting the Senator right away. Sen. Paul has been a leading figure for Republicans entering into 2016. However, the Kentucky Senator voted against immigration reform and is trying to repair his image with Latino voters. With Rep. Steve King as an ally, Latino voters will be suspicious of Sen. Paul's position in immigration.

This shows her ignorance by what she was saying...

Rip this apart... like seriously acting like a child.

The older I get, the more I hate these elected officials. This country is not what it was meant to be. Such moronic ideas, and the way people sever from one another it is truly sickening. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.

I disagree with this tactic - harassing Republican lawmakers in this immature manner doesn''t do any one of us any favors.

Sure, it works to agitate people, but, it doesn't accomplish deferred action for the rest of the community. I arrived here at age 12 - I don't have DACA. No one can give me back the opportunities that have passed me by, personally and profesionally. Is it Steve King's fault? Neither me nor any family member or friend has ever supported right-wingers like him. They voted Democratic. They voted for Obama. Twice. Right now, the President can change millions of lives with the stroke of his pen. And he's sitting on it while people continue to struggle.

I live in WA and we have several Democratic reps in the House; two influential Democratic women Senators (Murray and Cantwell) - I don't see either agitating for protection from deportation and work authorization for the community. And that is because WA is safely a blue state. They don't have to. The NW detention center in Tacoma was lobbied for by a Democratic rep.

I know these Tea Party members are prejudiced and racist; but, I don't believe they hold the cards to our future.

One of the things that I dislike about getting older - we become a bit more disillusioned. Life will do that to you.

Hello
My name is Moby

the reason I write this is to express my deeper frustration on Obama's

undocumented alien treatment since 2012.

I came here in U.S. as H4 when I was 18. I've disqualified DACA despite the

age couldn't even helped to determines a path to my independence - I

couldn't get work permit, buy liquors & tobacco, and drivers license, so on

so. as soon as my age turned to 19, my visa got expired. unlike my sister

who came in with her age 9 so she could have DACA in 2012.

now, my age is 31 and literally I can't do anything but stuck in home whole

day. imagine. every single day is doomsday, and i can't find any proper

reason to live as a human being. I wasted my 20 ages with earned nothing,

and no romance neither. nobody even wants to marry me. but I was just stick

with it because of Obama's initial promise - comprehensive immigration

reform.

But now, forget it. Obama throw my last only hope for saving dear selected

group of peoples - Dreamers and their parents only.

I've never been missed paying taxes every month and year, but Obama didn't

even considered about such case.

well..I'm in complication or AKA. "so fucked."
