I was lucky enough to get a full ride to college (albeit not Harvard!), but dang, it makes me so happy and proud that a fellow Dreamer went to Harvard on a full ride.

This article makes me truly believe that anything is possible.

If you get into Harvard and you are not rich, you are pretty much guaranteed a full ride.

Now that that student is Dacafied they have options on how to pay for her. I got a full ride offer at oxy (Obamas alma mater) but it was a no go once they found out I didn't qualify for some of the grants because of my status.

I have so in the past but nice schools have always made it easy for people of color to get in lowering the requirements for them

But it does matter, because people of color are granted a full ride ,If you have good grades and live in an inner city neighborhood you can qualify to go for free, my cousin had a full ride to Harvard,Yale,Princeton and any other ivy league school...They try to encourage African Americans to apply...Here in Philadelphia if you live in the inner city and have excellent grades University Of Penn will grant you a fully paid scholorship
