The Supreme Court has located Gov. Jan Brewer's Christmas stocking and placed inside it a nice big piece of ... coal.

The court on Tuesday denied Arizona's motion to stay and order from a lower court that would have allowed Arizona to continue denying driver's licenses to young people who qualify under the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Dreamers.

The governor, in her silly and spiteful ongoing feud with President Obama has refused to issue the licenses, even though other with the same federal designation have been allowed to get them.

The Ninth Circuit disagreed, going along with a district court decision ordering the state to stop denying driver's licenses to DACA recipients. Now, because the Supreme Court has refused to intervene, once the district court enters an injunction, the young people will be permitted to get driver's licenses.

This makes me happy. Just straight up denied her appeal. Don't let the door hit you on the way out brewer. Piece of trash. It's too bad the new governor is just as much of a biggot. Arizona Gov Sucks and will continue sucking, but at least we can drive now.
