Hi, all

I'm about to apply DACA for the first time.

I came in the US (EWI) when i was 14, lived here for 1-2 years, and returned to my country.

I came back again when i was 17, this time with visitor visa, and overstayed. Now i'm 30.

Since my record (W2) says I entered when i turned 17, so this become a so complicated case. So I've been waiting.

I've kept working and studying more than 10 years, and now I'm expecting my PhD degree next year. But I cannot work in those places that need my degree.

DACA is only my option now, and I need an advice from you all.

Q1.
I can ask my pastor for the baptism certificate dated back in the year when I was 14 and his affidavit for my presence in US in that year, too. Is this enough for them to believe I was here when I was 14?

Q2.
Should I tell them I have W2 from my second entrance to US? If I show the proof that I was here when I was 14, left country, and came back with W2. Are they going to believe me? Or should I rather not show my W2 and I'm only EWI since the first visit.

Q3.
This question is valid only when I decide not to show my W2 in Q2. I have SSN, should I write that in the application? If I provide this, will they track my W2 with it? What's the use for SSN in their DACA process? Proabably I'm not providing this if I decide not to provide W2.

Q4.
If I decide not to provide W2 and tell them I'm EWI, how can I prove that I'm illegal? This seems crazy.

Please help me!

As far as I know, you're not eligible since you came here when you were over the age of 16. I could be wrong, but your being here before then doesn't matter because you left the country. Might want to talk to a lawyer to see what risks you might want to take.
