Hello everyone,

First of all, I have been an avid reader of this wonderful forum for almost 4 years, but was a little shy and hesitant about registering and joining. Now that I joined, I would like to ask a question and see if anybody could help me.

About myself, I am 27 years old. I was brought to this magnificent country when I was 6 years old without inspection. I was always a good student and a law-abiding person. I have been married to my wife, a USC, for a few years now and we have a wonderful 3 year old boy. I first requested DACA back in Oct of 2012 and got approved by the end of Dec 2012. My DACA was renewed on Nov of 2014 and will expire this Nov 2016.

My situation is this: I am planning on applying for Advance Parole to visit my very sick grandfather in Mexico. My relatives in Mexico already got a letter from my grandfathers doctor detailing his medical condition and history and stating that he is in very bad health. My aunts back in Mexico just sent me those documents by mail, so they should arrive within a couple of weeks. As soon as those papers are in my hand, I will file for AP.

My question is, do I need to translate the documents that detail my grandfathers condition from Spanish to English? Or should I send them to USCIS just like that?

Any help is deeply appreciated, thanks.

Translating your grandfather's doctors letter and your birth certificate should be enough. I've only translated just those two documents both times that I've applied. Save that extra money translating unnecessary documents.
