My aunt's brother who is Mexican and is 22 y/0 can be sponsored either by his Mom (61) who is an LPR or my aunt (45 y/o) USC.

I do not know if I looked at the Visa times directly but it shows F4 having a wait time of about 19 years and the F2B with a wait time of about 20 years.

My grandmother just became an LPR so she cannot become a citizen until 5 years from now she will be 67 by the time she is a citizen.

Do you guys think that it would be better for my grandmother to petition his son or my aunt?

If anyone can confirm the date times it would be great.

Thank you

I say let them both file a petition. F1 should be faster generally, but having a plan B is always a good idea.

Worst case scenario they waste $420...

Yeah, I missed the fact it cannot be F1, it would be F2B, since my grandmother just became an LPR.

I guess file under F4 and then under F1 once she becomes citizen.

F2B might not be worth it right now.
