In a conversation with CNN he said he was gonna wait for what the president recommends sending the ball back to Trump.

No, he said he's open to see what the president recommends, then continued saying we need stronger border and a better immigration system, sounded more like a dodge to me.

"We're certainly open to see what president recommends"

Someone on twitter said it today. Someone from congress has to lead. Also If by miracle this happens it won't come before the mid-term elections. Their priority is repealing ACA and Tax Reform

and yet again with stupid health care reform.... lol... Obama used his first term (best political juice) to pass the ACA and now Trump will use his first year to repeal it... it'll take forever and once again immigration reform will fall on the back-burner.. what a joke.

And if they mess up repeal of ACA and don't bring peoples lost job back then Trump will need to keep his base happy for reelection purposes (ie: no immigration reform).
