Sen. L"I was trying to find a way forward on immigration and trying to find a way forward on healthcare," Graham told reporters. "Jared is a practical guy."

Graham did not dive into details about their discussion. Senate Republicans are working to develop a passable health care bill, and Graham is co-sponsoring legislation along with Illinois Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin to grant legal status and a path to citizenship for some immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as children. He will need Republicans' support to have any hope of passing the bill, even as Mr. Trump talks tough on immigration. indsey Graham said Thursday he had a walk-and-talk meeting with Jared Kushner, President Trump's senior adviser and son-in-law, to discuss immigration and health care.

It's not over yet! I know I've read Jared has even more influence with trump than anyone else.

I've really come to respect Graham in the last year. He's still a Republican and what happened with the SCOTUS nomination last year and this year was a shame but as far as immigration goes, he's shown to have a heart and stand up for us. The Dream Act is right there and would end our journey and would have a chance at passing if Trump would put support behind it. I really hope someone can talk sense to him.

If last year has taught me anything is that we have no clue what's going to happen. Common sense says that Trump and Republicans aren't going to do anything to help us but on the other hand he needs win badly so maybe there can be some horse trading behind to scenes to pass something attached to border security. Maybe it's not the huge wall he promised but some sort of wall that they were going to build anyway.

What are you saying? You're making zero sense. Kushner is the most liberal guy around. You should explain yourself before making absurd claims.

Kushner won't be able to anything for us from prison unfortunately.

Actually, my faith is now shifting to judge Hannen. Maybe he will dismiss the lawsuit.
