The initial response from the Democrats is “nothing doing.” They say they won’t let measures such as funding for Trump’s border wall and more immigration agents, denial of federal grants to so-called “sanctuary cities,” or tougher restrictions on the admission of refugees be part of any deal. Schumer made it clear that he considered these terms to be a way to scuttle DACA negotiations. Trump’s list of conditions was, he said, “anathema to the Dreamers” and “the immigrant community.”

Democrats are not to blame here , republicans are the ones posturing.

Who is preventing and has prevented the dream act from passing?

Both parties and President need to compromise .They have to be realistic. If they do want to solve DACA ( not pretending to be , they will reach a compromise . Otherwise nothing will be done .

Are they still working on finding a solution for us ? Or are they still using us to playing politic ?

I completely agree with you on this one. Democrats arent angels either similar to republicans. Democrats and republicans are all in it for their own agendas (democrats want voters and republicans want a wall or actually now no one knows what they want lol).
Till this date, democrats and republicans have yet to confidently say what they are willing to compromise on. They've been playing immigration politics for decades now its going to implode on both parties. It doesn't take months to come together and put forward a workable solution... that happens when the parties are playing politics.
Everyone knows a clean dream act will not work, republicans will just say no. If a clean dream act would work, it would have been passed a long time ago. The only difference now is we're held hostage or democrats can shut down the govt, but im sure trump would like that to happen.
Democrats might as well give republicans something, perhaps funding for the wall. You give trump the wall and he will jump in joy and force the republicans to vote.

This is total BS. I refuse to believe it. But then again Dems can also be posturing.
